Generally, all disciplines engineering services we can provide, for Oil & Gas and Power Plant. Design basis, PFD, P&ID, Control system, Electrical power generation, Specification and Data sheet.
The following activities (especially for Piping/Pipeline) are the common calculation in oil & gas and Power Plant those we have done.
1. Stress Analysis, by Caesar II
Every piping layout design which is fall into critical line is mandatory to be performed with stress analysis calculation and safe within allowable stated in codes and standards.
From this calculation, output results are not only about stress value, but also information about piping displacement, support load, type of support, and pipe support arrangement.
The above picture shows the sample of modeling of pipe stress analysis.
We can perform stress analysis with many cases such as slug force case, PSV reaction force, structure deflection, seismic acceleration, transportation case, and whatever cases required by specification should be considered.
2. Erosion and Corrosion analysis, by CFD, ANSYS
Sometimes crude oil comes with unpredicted slurry such sands. By the flow velocity and capacity, the piping system shall be analyzed to predicted erosion due to the slurry comes with crude oil.
By this analysis, we can earlier do the mitigation to handle erosion, reduce, and or remove the sand to keep our design within its design life.
From the above sample model, we input in CFD ANSYS to run erosion analysis. And below picture is the output result for the above model.

3. Pipeline buried onshore calculation
Buried onshore pipeline calculation not only stress analysis, depend on route selection. In case of road crossing, river crossing, etc, others calculation shall be performed to ensure buried pipe not damage due to vehicle load act on the road, upheaval buckling calculation in long river crossing, etc.
4. Subsea pipeline
We capable in execution of pipeline engineering design starting from develop pipeline design basis, specification (including line pipe, valve, bend pipe, coating, sacrificial anode, monolithic insulation gasket), data sheet, route selection, alignment sheet, and calculation (on bottom stability, free span, cathodic protection, upheaval, laying analysis, wall thickness calculation), and also to provide the procedure of pipeline work.
Stress analysis also to be performed with conditions such as on seabed, buried sub sea, weave and current speed, coating pipeline, marine growth, soil characteristic and modeler, span distance, and various load cases.
5. PDMS and SP3D Model
Most recent piping design layout demand uses 3D model software such as PDMS and SP3D.
This program shows our design more realistic and minimize the pipe clash and unfit design.
The above PDMS model is a sample that we can provide.
